Two social enterprise initiatives based in Cleator Moor are celebrating today after winning top awards from Social Enterprise Cumbria.
- Works4You won the Community Enterprise of the Year Award.
- Copeland Age and Advice Service won the Best New Social Enterprise in Cumbria Award.
A spokesperson from Works4You said:
"This afternoon our Grounds Maintenance Supervisor and Managing Director attended the virtual Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership Awards.
We were delighted to have been short listed for the Community Enterprise of the Year Award. We are over the moon to announce that we won this category.
"We would like to thank everyone who has supported us and continues to do so and a special thanks to our staff who work really hard especially in the non-predicable Cumbria weather."

"The team have attended the virtual Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership Awards this afternoon and are delighted to have won the Best New Social Enterprise in Cumbria category.
