Intoxicated woman used vulgar language towards public, in Whitehaven

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of public order, that occurred at around 1:30pm on the 9th of June, in the area of Lowther Street.

A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said:

"It was reported that a woman, aged in her 40’s, was intoxicated and used vulgar language towards members of the public.

"Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2424 on 101, quoting incident number 91 of 9 June.

"Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
