In the month of May, Cumbria Police have had several positive results in dealing with drivers breaking the law.
CP-20210508-0264 refers to Police stopping a 41-year-old woman in Cleator Moor, she was arrested and charged on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level above the limit.
Lucy Todd, of Solway Road, Whitehaven has been charged and due in Court on the 8th June.
CP-20210517-0045 refers to Police stopping a 27-year-old man in the Egremont area who turned out to have no insurance. His vehicle was seized and he was reported for the offence.
CP-20210517-0204 refers to Police stopping a 25-year-old man in Keekle who subsequently tested positive for cannabis and was arrested.
CP-20210501-0016 refers to Police arresting a 41-year-old man at the West lakes Science park on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit.
Alan Purves, of Coleridge Drive, Egremont has been charged and due in Court on the 1st June.
Increase in Anti-Social behaviour
There has been an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour in Frizington, particularly around the play park in the Newtown area.
PCSO Huck has been attending on a regular basis to engage with residents and young persons there to listen to concerns and offer advice to look at tackling problems.
