For so many, being connected online made the latest lockdowns much more bearable. Social media, FaceTime, zoom, WhatsApp… they all played a role in in keeping us connected to friends and family.
Sadly, some people still struggle on how to use the Internet. But, help is at hand.
Starting on Tuesday 22nd June, a partnership of agencies and community groups are offering 5 Sessions totally free of charge for all those who would like to learn how to use the internet to stay connected with Family Friends and Community.
'Getting Connected' sessions are available for absolute beginners… or for those who have made a start but could do with a little help to become more confident.
The free sessions will take place in St John’s hall on Crossfield Road. To participate, call Skills 4 You on 01946 814576.
