Officers are requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted for offences of rape and controlling and coercive behaviour.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said:
"Lyle Smith, aged 26, has links to Barrow and Bartestree but could have travelled to any location.
"Lyle is described as white, 6 foot tall, of slim build and blue eyes.
"Anyone with information of Lyle’s whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101.
"Alternatively, if you would prefer to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
