Officers are appealing for any information to a serious assault which took placed near to the park on Mill Street, Penrith on 27th December 2020 around about 7:30pm.
- The incident was reported to police yesterday (19th Feb 2021).
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said:
"It is reported that a man has been approached by three men and assaulted by two of the men.
"The three men are described as white and in their late 20s. All the men were wearing jeans and spoke with a Manchester accent.
"The victim sustained a fractured eye socket from the assault.
"Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 202 of 19th February 2021. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
