Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on a woman in Ambleside. The assault was reported to have happened at 5pm on North Road, Ambleside on Wednesday January 13.
The woman was not reported to be injured.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said:
"The man who carried out the assault was described as 5ft 9ins tall and wore a black hoody and black trousers.
"Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101, referring to incident 147 of January 16."
