Prime Minister Boris Johnson has signed the UK-EU Trade deal this afternoon after the document was flown from Brussels to London.
He said: "By signing this deal, we fulfill the sovereign wish of the British people to live under their own laws, made by their own elected Parliament."
From 11pm tomorrow (31st December) the UK will leave the Brexit transition period and begin a whole new chapter outside of the European Union.
Trade Deals have been signed with 90 countries to date. They will take effect from 1st January 2021.
