Teachers from Jericho School in Whitehaven have found themselves to be the target of mischievous Elves. Snowy footprints and discarded sweet wrappers have been found all around the school. The supernatural beings have also vandalised photographs.
The school was so worried, that a letter was sent out to parents. The letter said:
Dear parents and carers,We have been alerted to a number of naughty elves in operation near the school. Please can I ask that you keep a look out when you are around the school over the coming weeks and report any sightings or incidents of mischief that you might find. This morning we released a poster to warn the children. We are all just hoping that the school, like many of your homes, will not fall foul of elvish antics.
Today (3rd December), it had became evident that the Elves have taken no notice of the letter to parents. Staff photos have been vandalised. Schoolchildren are now on the lookout for the pesky Elves.
A spokesperson from the school said: "I’m afraid to say that the teachers have been the target of their mischievousness.
"We arrived today to find that our staff photos have been defaced and stuck up in the classrooms!
"Please rest assured that our children are on the lookout for the elves. We hope that you are all staying safe in these troublesome times."
You can keep up to date with Elf occurrences on the school Facebook Page.
