Man injured in Maryport assault

Police are investigating an assault that occurred at 8pm on Monday 19th October in the area of King Street and Senhouse Street, Maryport.

Police are appealing for information that could help identify the suspects thought to be in a group of young adults who have assaulted a lone male leaving him requiring hospital treatment for a head injury.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PC 2761 Davies on 101, quoting incident number 211 of the 19th October.
