TSP Engineering have been shortlisted for ‘SME of the Year’ as part of the prestigious Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2020.
The Make UK Manufacturing Awards recognise and award manufactures and their team year on year. The awards reward those who have done exceptional work in their sector, and are designed to celebrate hard work, dedication and resilience.
A spokesperson from the company said:
"It’s always fantastic to be recognised on this scale for our hard-work, innovation and dedication to the industry, but even more so this year after the whirlwind it’s been for everyone. Being shortlisted for this award in such a competitive industry evidences both our ability to manufacture high-quality products/services, and the skill our team possess. Without their hard work, commitment and drive to succeed we couldn’t apply for these prestigious awards which continue to put both TSP Engineering and Cumbria on the map, showing the powerhouse in which we are.
"Last year, our Instrumentation Apprentice, Jade Hughes, received Highly Commended for ‘Engineering Apprentice of the Year: Rising Star’ at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards. The category was designed for apprentices who have done the most to seize the training and development opportunities presented to them during the early years of their engineering apprenticeship, making significant contribution to support the activities of their employer, and showing great potential for the future. We are so proud of Jade for her achievement as she now joins a band of others at TSP Engineering who have been shortlisted and successful in gaining prestigious awards, demonstrating the capability we have within the business.
