High water levels are expected to affect the foreshore as a result of current spring tides cycle. The tide overnight will be at its highest at around 01:00am on 19th September.
Flooding to roads and farmland is possible, however conditions may apply up to two hours either side of the high tide. Tides are rising to spring tides, peaking overnight Saturday into Sunday morning.
Therefore, high tides through until Monday afternoon, 21/09/20, may also cause further flooding to roads and farmland.
Low lying land, roads and coastal paths at Roosebeck, South Ulverston, Canal Foot, Crake estuary, Rusland Valley, Leven estuary, Eea estuary, Flookburgh, East Plain Farm, Grange-over-Sands, Meathop, Kent estuary, Milnthorpe, B5282 coast road, Sandside and Arnside may be affected.
