Police are investigating an assault which happened on Oxford Street, Workington, around 8pm on Tuesday 8th September 2020.
A male, in his fifties, was punched in the face by an unknown male while waiting for a bus at the bus stop outside Workington Town Hall, causing injuries to his face.
The offender is described as a white male, approximately 5'8 tall, medium build, with short, sandy hair. He was wearing a dark coloured puffer jacket. He was seen in company with another male and 2 females walking in the direction of Park Lane after the assault.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident and anyone who can assist in identifying a suspect.
