This morning, at 03:51, two fire engines attended a fire on main street Frizington. The fire involved a two storey mid terraced domestic property.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said:
"Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, one thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
"Two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation using oxygen therapy. Crews were detained approximately one hour."
