Police Officers prop up van that could have toppled over

SHARE:

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were called out today to a vehicle that had left the road near Lorton. The vehicle had been left in a precarious position, with Police Officers propping it up until help arrived.

A spokesperson said:

"Cockermouth & Workington crews attended a vehicle that had left the road near Lorton.

"We quickly stabilised the van using StabFast equipment so that the two police officers who were holding it in position could let go and the casualty could walk to safety."
