Officers are appealing for information following an assault that occurred at approximately 00:45am on Friday 21st August on Kent Street, Kendal.
It is reported during the incident a 17-year-old boy was assaulted by four males and one woman. Following the incident four people were arrested and interviewed by detectives in Kendal.
The 17-year-old boy suffered minor injuries.
On Saturday (Aug 22) the following persons were charged
· Victoria Nelson, aged 40 of Stramongate, Kendal was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and assault by beating.
· Liam Pickering, aged 20 of no fixed address was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
· A 17-year-old boy from Preston was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and intimidating a witness.
· A 17-year-old boy from Barrow was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
· A 17-year-old boy from Kendal was charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
They will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates and South Cumbria Youth Court on the 18th September 2020.
