Shortly after 11.15pm last night (1 July), a red Audi A3 left the road and ended up in a nearby field at Sandwith.
Two fire engines were in attendance. There was one casualty who had self-extricated prior to fire service arrival.
Crews used holmatro cutting gear, first aid kit, oxygen and a stretcher. Crews remained on scene for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
The driver, a man aged in his 40s, has suffered serious injuries and is receiving medical treatment.
