Wath Brow Hornets ARLFC have announced that planning permission has been granted for their Indoor Training Facility.
The metal clad building will be 25 metres long and 17 metres wide and will allow players to train all-year-round. The facility has been dubbed, The Barn.
A delighted spokesperson said:
"This purpose built building will greatly benefit the whole community & all fitness/sporting groups.
"It is essential in our area & meets both Copeland & Cumbria’s “Active” development plans for all. By providing a safe and dry complex for all it also ensures the continued development, fun and opportunity for children of all ages/ability and sex.
"Wath Brow Hornets ARLFC would like to thank everyone involved in supporting or potentially supporting the project so far, in particular Rlwc2021, Tomans Construction, Cumbria Community Fund, Copeland Community Fund, Francis C Scott Foundation, Hadfield Trust, Cleator Moor Town Council, St.Patricks RC School, Montreal School, Moor Row Primary School, Frizington St.Josephs & Frizington County School.
