The Citizen and Policing awards judging panel met last week to consider all nominations for Citizens in Policing Awards including caterories relating to Mini Police.
Following an extremely tough and emotional judging session it was decided that the very worthy winners of the awards were as follows:
Mini Police Officer of the Year:
Kitty Rooney from St Patrick's School, Cleator Moor is this years Mini Police Officer of the Year.
PSCO Watson said:
"Kitty threw herself into the role. She has been passionate, diligent throughout and has really grown in confidence. Kitty has been the perfect role model leading on many Mini Police initiatives including fundraising, creating leaflets and delivering presentations to the school. Kitty is a well-derserved winner of this year's award."
Mini Police School of the Year:
There were strong nominations in each category, including the Mini Police School of the Year but ultimately the judges had to choose a winner and were delighted to declare that the Mini Police School of the Year is St Patrick's School, Cleator Moor.
