Police are investigating an arson that happened between 10:30pm and 11:15pm on 26th May 2020.
Two cars that were parked on a lane to the rear of Mid Street, Kells, Whitehaven, were set on fire.

Police are also investigating a serious assault which happened around the beginning of March 2020, outside the United Reform Church, James Street, Whitehaven. The victim is unsure of the date but believes it was a Friday in early March.
A 40 year old, local man reported he was pulled to the floor by two men and attacked.
Police would like to speak to two men to assist in their investigation. One man is described to be in his 20s, white short dark hair, around 6ft tall, stocky build and wearing dark clothing. The second man is said to be in his 30s, white, short dark hair, 6ft 1ins tall, average build and wearing dark clothing. Both men spoke with a local accent.
