Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were called out last night to a vehicle fire in the Kells area of Whitehaven.
A spokesperson from Whitehaven Fire Station said:
"The Whitehaven crew were called to a vehicle fire in the Kells area of Whitehaven at 23:04.
"On arrival crews found a private vehicle well alight and spreading to a second vehicle beside it. The fire was quickly extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and 1 Breathing Apparatus set. The crew was on scene for approximately 50 minutes."
