Emergency service workers at Sellafield staged an emotional show of support for NHS frontline carers.
Members of the site's 'blue light' response teams gathered to join the nationwide 'Clap for Carers'.
The site's emergency vehicle fleet was assembled and the scene was captured using Sellafield Ltd's drone.
For security reasons, the celebration took place 24 hours early.
Kevin Slater, head of operations, security and resilience, explains:
"Like the rest of the country, we are enormously appreciative of the heroic efforts of our NHS frontline workers.
"Clap for Carers has captured the nation's mood and we were desperately keen to be part of it.
"But for security reasons, it's difficult for all of our emergency services to be gathered in one place at a predictable time.
"So to manage this safely and securely, we got together 24 hours before the national celebration to show our appreciation.
