Cumbria Police are seeking to rejuvenate the Farmwatch scheme in Copeland, as well as help in setting up new Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
A spokesperson said:
"If you are interested in joining or in running one of these schemes, then please get in touch.
"We are also looking to recruit police volunteers to help combat wildlife crime in the area.
"Please email [email protected] if you are interested and label your email for the attention of the Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team."
