Police are investigating an assault which occurred on the 28th February between the hours of 5:30am and 6am on Barras Brow, Cardewlees, Carlisle. This is the road opposite the Spar garage on the A595 near Thursby.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any persons in this area at this time or a black or dark blue Audi vehicle parked near the area around this time. A man has sustained a significant eye injury as a result of the assault.
