Déjà Brew is coming to Cleator Moor High Street soon. They are located next to Farrell's Sports and are opening in March.
Déjà Brew is described as Cumbria’s first ever bubble tea shop.
Bubble tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Tainan and Taichung in the 1980s. Recipes contain tea of some kind, flavours of milk, and sugar. Toppings, known as "pearls", such as chewy tapioca balls, popping boba, fruit jelly, grass jelly, agar jelly, alovera jelly, sago and puddings are often added.
Owner, Tom Cheung said:
"As well as bubble tea, or boba tea (whichever name you prefer), we will also be serving coffee from Carlisle coffee roasters Bruce and Luke’s, along with tea from Y-tea.
"We also aim to serve exceptional food. From our vibrant breakfast menu, you can expect to see food items like the Breakfast Bagel and Cherry Tomato and Coriander Avocado Toast, and classics such as Eggs Royale and Porridge with Mixed Berries.
