Multiple crashes on M6 at Shap

This is a breaking story. 

Emergency services currently dealing with several collisions on the M6 in area of J39 (Shap).

Matrix set to 30mph both sides. Surface water and ice causing hazardous driving.

Reports on social media report that three cars that have gone off the road on the southbound side, and a van has turned over on northbound just after Tebay services.
