Yesterday evening (Dec 23rd), two fire engines were called to a domestic building fire on Muncaster Close, Whitehaven.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Fire and Rescue said:
"Crews used two breathing apparatus, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"One casualty was left in the care of North West ambulance service. Crews were in attendance approximately two hours."
