Over the past few weeks students at West Lakes Academy have been working hard to collect presents for the older people who need it most this Christmas.
On Friday 13th of December 2019, Age Concern visited the school with clients Maud and Joyce to collect an incredible 528 presents.
These presents will now be distributed through Age Concerns Day Activities, Community Conenctions and Information & Advice Service.
A spokesperson from Age Concern said:
"We have been blown away by the generosity and compassion shown by the pupils at West Lakes Academy. We cannot thank them enough for all they have done.
"We'd also like to say a special thank you to Mr Haslop who organised the collection."
