Apprentices from Gen2 have delivered two hundred and forty Christmas presents to Age Concern centres in Cockermouth and Workington.
Each box was packed with items like gloves, socks, toiletries, dressing gowns and festive snacks. All lovingly donated, wrapped and delivered by the apprentices themselves.
Age Concern are now in the process of distributing the presents to some of the most socially isolated older people in West Cumbria. This will be done through the charity's Day Activities service, Community Connections project and Information & Advice service.
