Officers from Cumbria Police arrested a female on suspicion of shoplifting in Whitehaven (3rd November). A spokesperson said:
"We have found a lot of loose change on the female which has been seized as suspected stolen property. We have had no reports of this today.
"If you are aware of anyone who has had any money tins or bags stolen either today or in recent days in Whitehaven please report to Cumbria Police on 101."
