From 4th November, in line with the changing of the seasons and darker days, Eskdale Mill will be closing its doors to the public for 4 weeks. They’ll be opening again with a Christmas theme at weekends in December and over the holiday period from 11am – 3.30pm, apart from Christmas eve and Christmas day.
In January, they’ll again close to the public and re-open during the February half term holiday and weekends in March only before commencing the tourist season again in line with the full time operation of the La’al Ratty.
During this dormant time, the volunteer team will remain busy carrying out some vital grounds and machinery maintenance, Miller’s garden developments and exhibition cleaning.
