The National Trust are to have a Bonfire burning above Whitehaven to celebrate Guy Fawkes night on Tuesday November 5th, 6pm-8pm. The event is free.
A spokesperson from the trust said:
Children welcome, accompanied by an adult. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Join us for a cliff-top bonfire on the Whitehaven Coast – the perfect spot for watching fireworks in the town below. Those of you who joined us last year know we don’t set off our own fireworks, but we do build a beautiful bonfire and provide some tasty refreshments.
So wrap up warm and join us at the bonfire as we look out over Whitehaven on November 5th.
